Packing tips for traveling abroad.
The Ultimate Packing List
Tips to Pack like a Pro:
So you’ve booked a trip and you’re ready to pack. This part can be overwhelming but I got you! Plus, you’re not leaving the planet, whatever you miss you can probably find wherever you’re going. Before you start packing, remember these few tips:- Remember to check the weather so you know exactly which outfits to pack
- If you’re moving from country to country, review every flight and how much luggage weight is allowed per flight (typically flights allow for 30-50 lbs depending on if you’re bringing a checked bag or carry on)
- Weigh your bags after packing and always leave a bit of weight and space for any souvenirs that you might buy
- Print out flight info, confirmation of airbnb addresses and any tickets you've purchased. I have lost phones on trips so don’t just rely on that to hold travel info.
- When deciding which luggage to purchase, make sure you consider the weight of the luggage itself as it will add to your total weight when you fly
- Most countries have different outlets, so you will need a travel adapter. If you use a straightener or curling iron be sure to check the wattage in relation too your adapter to make sure they are compatible.
